“Dog Tales” is a weekly half-hour educational/
informational series showcasing all aspects of the canine
world. The series, which is appropriate for family viewing
and children ages 13-16 in particular, offering useful
information on all kinds of dogs and the people who love
them. The program also instructs young viewers on the
proper care of pets and provides safety, health and training
tips that are useful for all kinds of dogs. In addition to
showcasing skilled and compassionate individuals helping
dogs and dogs assisting people, the program emphasizes
responsible pet ownership, compassion for all living
creatures and promotes strong personal and community
values, all in a manner that is as entertaining as it is
informative. “Dog Tales” is closed-captioned for the
hearing impaired and displays the “E/I” icon throughout the
broadcast.
